WEEKLY STYLING TIPS //

EDIT YOUR CLOSET:
If there is one thing I have learned in life, it is that most things feel better with a bit of breathing room. I always revert back to the Japanese philosophy referred to as “MA”. Which can be translated into “space” or “pause”. What can I say, I will forever be a minimalist. But seriously, your closet is no exception. You should be able to see each item without having to rifle through a thick pile. Nothing screams STRESS more than an overpacked closet. Does it spark joy? Mmm nope! Then Kondo that shit! If you need help with editing, I offer custom packages tailored to each client.

FIND A GOOD TAILOR:
A good tailor is literally your best friend. Nothing raises the quality moderately priced clothes more than having them altered them to suit your exact shape. AND they can help breathe new life into your old clothes or vintage finds.

DON’T FORGET ABOUT UNDERWEAR:
If you are like me and you love light colors and live in linen, I cannot stress the importance enough of having a set of nude underwear & bras. The same goes for testing the sheerness of lighter colored items. I highly recommend stepping outdoors into natural light before leaving the house to make sure you’re not accidentally showing the world all of the goods.

RID THE FEAR OF ONLINE SHOPPING: Nowadays there are so many options and such beautiful brands all over the world that we have access to. Don’t let your fear of finding the right fit stand in your way. You need to know your measurements not just your size. So go get yourself a tape measure sister! Most brands have a measurement chart that will help assist you in finding the right size, since sizing varies so much from brand to brand. If you need help taking measurements, I am happy to help provide you with a chart that helps break it down for you.

LESS IS MORE:
Every woman only needs around twenty items core items in her closet. Don’t be afraid to invest in quality items that make up the foundation of your wardrobe. If you need help determining what these pieces are, I can definitely help!
