1. CREATE A CAPSULE WARDROBE:
I like to teach my clients how to build a wardrobe full of items that mix and match with ease. Not only does this reduce the stress of getting dressed but it enables you to have a multitude of outfit combinations.
2. GET TO KNOW YOUR BODY:
Fit comes first. Let me help you to focus on emphasizing the areas that you love and concealing what you don’t.
3. FIND YOUR DREAM JEANS:
I cannot stress this enough. Denim as we all know is super versatile and goes with virtually everything. It can be dressed up or down. I recommend finding that perfect pair of jeans that flatters you in all of the right places. Do NOT settle for good enough. I’m talking about denim that makes you feel like a million bucks. That pair you can always fall back onto. Plus nothing is sexier than a well fitting pair of jeans and a classic white tee for those days where you have nothing to wear.
4. BOTTOMS UP:
Whenever I’m getting dressed, I always always always start with the bottom layer. I find it to be the determining factor of the entire look and feel of the outfit.
5. EXPERIMENT WITH PROPORTIONS:
If I’m wearing loose fitting pants, I automatically know to gravitate towards slimmer fitting tops & vice versa.
